1966 Aston Martin DB6 Sports Saloon Matching Numbers LHD

This matching numbers left-hand drive DB6, chassis number 2660/L/N, was originally delivered via the famed US Importer J.S. Inskip, to Mr. William Rose Jr. of Port Washington, New York. Factory records show it left the Newport Pagnell works finished in Dubonnet Red over black trim with many extras for touring enjoyment. Optional equipment included air conditioning, chrome wire wheels, FIAMM horns, a Blaupunkt Koln stereo, Britax safety belts, Borg-Warner automatic gearbox, and limited slip differential. In ensuing years, the car was refinished in a handsome shade of slate gray and updated with a desirable ZF 5-speed manual gearbox. The well-preserved cabin retains a rich and inviting character, with original touches including the Blaupunkt radio and crisp Smiths instruments in place. Per the accompanying chassis records, this car retains its original, numbers matching engine, which presents well in the engine bay with its correct triple S.U. carburetors in place. Just out of long-term storage as part of a large private collection, the Aston is not currently running and will require servicing prior to use. Don't miss the ultimate evolution of the classic "DB" series.
